An extended summary of all intentional attacks on civil infrastructure and population executed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 17th to 23rd of October.
The report presents an extended summary of all intentional attacks on civil infrastructure and population in the regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporojye and Kherson, Belgorod and others, executed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the week from the 17th to 23rd of October.
Popular or official local telegram channels were used to obtain information on the attacks (see list at the end of report).
Since the war broke out on the 24th of February, the Ukrainian Army, under the command of General Valeryi Zaluzhnyi, has been indiscriminately shelling civilian buildings (markets, schools, residential housing), civilian gatherings and other facilities of non-military use, predominantly in the Donbass region, pursuing sole purpose of inflicting as much damage to the non-combatant population as possible.
Some notable examples are the shelling of Kramatorsk train station on the 8th of April, the Donetsk indoor market attack on the 22nd September, as well as the recent bombing of civilian transport heading for Russia-controlled part of Zaporojye on 30th of September.
21 people were killed and at least 69 injured from 10th to 16th of October.
